Tom’s diary

Dear diary Saturday & Sunday were good days because when I woke up on Saturday I made a 4 layer white bread chocolate spread sandwich I got dressed energetically  and hurried to the nearest Tesco to buy batteries for the voice changer I found at a yard sale for €2 but they didn’t have the right ones. I checked Lidl, none, Aldi, none, Ikea, none and Smyths toys superstore, none! When I looked at Amazon they had the right ones and they also had one day delivery. I placed the order and went to bed as it was 8:30 pm! When I woke up today and the package had come from… wait… it was from eBay!!! They were the wrong ones! I had got scammed into buying 100 AA batteries for €1!!! Ahhh! Goodbye diary, Tom :)

Ghost Town: Chapter 2

I’m normally an energetic person. But that all ended today... I stare at the creature. It stares back. Its long, slimy tongue reaches extremely close to my face. I wish I had made better choices, I think to myself. The truth is, I really could have… I hurried down the path. I was late. I darted around for I’d say, 10 minutes. Once I reached the place, I sighed. “Late for class again I see?” My teacher said, in her high, squeaky voice. “Yes…” I sighed. “At least you didn’t miss lunch,” She screeched. “I-I’m sorry,” I murmured. I sat down. I reached in and grabbed my lunch. Another tasteless sandwich, by my father of course. He always gave me tasteless food. He hated me… On the floor I saw a battery, layered in it’s white, fuzzy, leaked battery acid. It must have been left there years ago , I thought. The school is never cleaned, and that’s not a joke. The one thing left off of the staff register (A piece of paper in the hall, stuck to the door of the teacher’s lounge, with a list of al

At the end of the hallway...

…It’s just standing there. I-I don’t know what more I can say. It’s just… Standing. It lunges at me. I don’t move, I just move my face to the side. I can feel it’s cold, raspy breath on my face. I let it stay there, I know that if I don’t move, it can’t hurt me. It takes 10 long minutes for it to stop. You may be wondering why I’m so calm about it. The truth is, I know what it is. It feeds off my fear. It can’t really hurt me. It only becomes physical if I show fear to it. If I don’t, all it can do is torture me in my head. But, once again, if I show it fear, it will become solid matter, and not just for me, but for everyone. If I show it fear, we’re all dead. Me, my family, my friends, even people across the world. So, I wait. And I wait. And it transports itself to the end of the hallway. It stares. Even though I can’t see its eyes as of its long black cloak, I still know it’s staring at me. It mutters its last words, at least for now. “I’ll be back” and it fades into thin air.
Who are they?  Did you ever hear about the time I went to Comic-Con 2018? It was the 19 th of July and I was excited to see the opening of San Diego’s Comic-Con because it was my first time and I was going to upload it to my YouTube vlog channel. As I was starving I took a break in the nearest park to eat a hot dog. I saw what I thought was a statue but then he started towards me. I turned and ran but then he said that he was only a cosplayer and was cosplaying as the Grim Reaper. Suddenly he brandished a REAL knife! I was terrified and I ran away back to my hotel room where I thought I would be safe or was I?...

Alcatraz2

100 word challenge Alcatraz prison San Francisco America Earth Milky Way I had found a cell mate who was also accused of being an infamous criminal. The police had thought he was “Monesview”! We were allowed out of our cells for most of the day unless there were tourists coming to see Alcatraz. One day myself and my friend whose real name was John  decided to take up two  laundry jobs to get guard uniforms. If we did this we could escape! First we cleaned the guard uniforms. Then we made plastic versions of the keys we pickpocketed from the guards, needed to make our getaway! But where would we hide it all? That evening we were due for a cell search we thought we should keep the stuff in our deep pockets in our orange jumpsuits. That night we hid in two lockers and changed into the guard uniforms. We were ready to make our escape but in the corridor we could hear footsteps...

Criminal

We were home at last. We just hoped that the police wouldn’t find out. We’d be arrested. But where would we hide it all? I don’t know particularly. We’d better find out soon… If we don’t, we’re in serious trouble… I just hope it doesn’t come to the guns… Now I know why Grandpa gave us these guns, we just hope we never need to use them. But we will if we must. Oh, right! I never told you our names! My name is James and I work with my sister Natalie, as well as my mother and father. I am eleven and my sister is twelve. You may be wondering what’s in the bag, but sadly, you will never know...

Ghost Town: Chapter 1

I lay on the floor. I wonder secretly to myself, Why did I come here? The truth is, I don’t even know the answer myself. I just hope it can’t read minds. That may sound like a joke, but it is not. But first, let me tell you how I got here. It started 10 months ago. . . “He is just a boy!” Mother cried. “He is a FREAK!” Father screamed. They were chatting about me. I don’t like them chatting about me, as Father is the main speaker, and he never has anything nice to say about me. “I say we send him to the circus!” Father said aloud. He was talking about me much more brutally than usual. Why, you ask? As I have been gifted with a special ability. They call it ‘Syconosis’ It is a very special condition, no, not like some syndromes or things like that, it is more of an ability. What does it do, you ask? It allows you to, no joke, see and communicate with ghosts, no, not like a movie like Paranorman or something like that, really. And the truth is, Father doesn’t believe me. But Mother does
